- About this Coffee: Aldea Global is a farmers' association dedicated to supporting producers who often face difficulties accessing financing, by providing affordable loans. The organization empowers its members to invest in their farms, boost yields, and increase their income. Additionally, Aldea Global offers technical support on planting, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting. Aldea Global consists of 4,863 smallholders with 998 of them being women. The organization runs a women producer initiative called Tierra Madre. This collection exclusively features coffee cultivated by women who receive a premium for coffees that meet high quality standards.
